Problem:

Why do I get the error "Unable to get information from SQL Server: <servername>"

Resolution:

The error message Unable to get information from SQL Server :

is caused as result of the process SQL Server Browser has stopped unexpectedly. To start this service launch services.msc from the Run options on the Start Menu, select to SQL Server Browser service and start the Service.

Now switch back to SilkCentral Test Manger Administration page and connect to the database
