QUESTION

When Executing Tests within SilkCentral Test Manager why might the time of the execution be inaccurate?

ANSWER
----------------------------------
This may be because the time on the Execution Server is set to an incorrect time zone.

With SilkCentral Test Manager, all date and time values are saved in GMT to the database. The presentation of these values is according to the time zone set in the user settings.

Check to ensure that the time zone of the execution server is set correctly.

This can be done by clicking on the time in the Windows System Tray and then selecting the "Time Zone" tab and ensuring that it is set to the correct time zone.

It is also advised that the time on both the Execution Server and the Host machine are in sync.
