Problem:

Why am I getting "StringID " not found" in the dropdown list when creating a new requirement?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: 2005 R2
  • Product Component: Change Request Form
  • Platform/OS Version: All

Question:

When I open a new Requirement, the dropdowns for ?Type?, ?Priority?, and ?Status? are all showing ?StringID ?? not found? message. What can cause this behavior?


Answer:

This appears to be an issue with extra rows in the CENUMS (enumerated values) table which contains NULL values in the StarTeam ID & Category columns. Please contact Technical Support for details on how to do this.
