Problem:

When attempting to run STCMD on Linux the following error results:

Resolution:

This is caused by the executable permission not being set against the STCMD binary.

Running the command ls -l against STCMD should display a result similar to the following

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 949 Mar 29  2011 stcmd

To resolve the problem run the command

chmod x ./stcmd

The ls -l command should now return the following:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 949 Mar 29  2011 stcmd

The STCMD binary will now execute successfully.
