StarTeam Server log stuck between "Notification Locale set to: en" and "The security manager loaded." on startup




Answer/Solution:
The problem is that the server is purging the security log table and it is taking a long time because it has gotten very large. If the server is currently running and you just want to avoid this happening the next time you start the server, you can change the "Purge security events older than ___ days" (in the server administration console, Tools -> Accounts -> System Policy -> Security Events tab) to either be a large number of days or disable it altogether. This will either purge only the very old security events or not purge the table at all. However, you can only change this setting if the server is running. If the server is not running and the purge is taking way too long, there is a way we can correct this in support. Please log a case for the issue.
