Resolving the StarDisk Assertion Failure
StarDisk returns the error "Assertion failed" when opened, then refersto C:\WINNT\explorer.exe and then StarDisk cannot beused.
This error is caused by a damaged installation of the StarGate SDK. Theresolution is to remove the installed StarGate SDK from C:\ProgramFiles\Starbase\StarGate SDK and then re-install StarDisk. Note: Re-installingStarDisk without removing the damaged StarGate SDK will not replace the file orresolve the issue.
