Question:

How can I add multiple Not-in-View folders to a project?

Answer:

In order to add multiple Not-in-View folders / subfolders to a project please follow the steps outlined

  1. Choose "Folder Tree" then "Show Not-in-View Folders" to make folders visible in the client.
  2. With this item checked on the Folder Tree menu, you can see Not-in-View folders in the folder hierarchy on the left.
  3. Select the folder(s) you want add to your view.
  4. To see sub-folders, select the parent folder in the left pane and click the Folder tab.
  5. Right-click the selected folder and choose Add to View.
  6. To add files in the folders select the files in the folder you just added on the File tab and choose Add Files.

Note: This operation allows you to add the selected folder (and any Not-In-View parent folders) to the project folder tree. This is an alternate way to create folders instead of using the New Folder wizard. The folders it creates has the same folder name and working folder path.
