Problem:

Does the StarTeam license include a license for the database which StarTeam uses as a repository?

Resolution:

No. If a customer chooses to use either SQL Server or Oracle as the database for their StarTeam environment then it is the customers responsibility to ensure that their prefered database platform is fully licensed and is compatible for the version of the StarTeam server that they are installing.
