By default the StarTeam 2008 R2 server will have the Asynchronous I/O feature enabled. This setting will write entries to the StarTeam server log file such as:

Used:0, Allotted: 104857600, Physical Avail: -2498560, Virtual Avail: 1473626112.

The meaning of each item is detailed below:

Log Entry Description
Used How much memory is being used by the StarTeam Server cache
Allotted How much memory is set aside for possible use by the StarTeam Server cache
Physical Avail How much free physical memory there is on the server
Virtual Avail How much free virtual memory there is on the server
