Description:
Deletion can not propagate to the read-only child view

Answer/Solution:
Suppose you?ve created non-derived child view and you created a view label. Create a promotion state and associate it with the view label. Now create a read only reference view under this view with the promotion state configuration. If you go back and delete a file from non-derived parent view, the operation will not propagate to the child view. The reason is that deletion can not be propagated to read-only view. Another way to argue this is that the child view is still portraying an accurate view of all the items attached to the label/promotion state because the historical revision of the file still has the label.
