Description:
Unable to synch defects from QC to StarTeam, but able to synch the other way.


Answer/Solution:
Here are few things to check:

1) Check that the synch flag in QC set to ‘yes’.

2) Check the name of the synch flag is correct in the bugsync.ini file.

3) Check if the ‘Project Name’ in QC matches the ‘mtd_project" specified in bugsync.ini file. This is only true if ‘mtd_project’ is not commented or is not set to "All Projects" .

4) Check if the user has proper privileges in the database. This is only true if your database is oracle. In this case, the user must be granted DBA privilege explicitly for the QC project schema.
