Problem:

Can StarTeam Client function in an "off-line" mode?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: All
  • Product Component: Client
  • Platform/OS Version: All


Currently using StarTeam Client in an "off-line" mode is not possible.

StarTeam needs to maintain a connection to the StarTeam server at all times. If the connection is lost users will not be able to work off-line and therefore not able to check in files to the server or store the changes to wait for re-connection.
