What is the reason for “the user is not recognized error” when trying to connect to StarTeam?

Answer/Solution:
This error is a BLS error and resulted due to exceeding the number of licenses available. In BLS, it is required to list all users in the user.txt file if the license is named license. Suppose you have 10 named licenses. You can put as many names as you want in the user.txt. However, only the first 10 in the list will be able to connect to StarTeam. StarTeam will throw the above error for all other users starting on user number 11.
