InterMedia is a platform provided by Oracle to enhance database storage of rich multimedia such as videos, images and rich text.

While it is possible to use StarTeam to manage multimedia data, InterMedia functionality is not utilized by the StarTeam server at present. There are currently no plans to introduce use of InterMedia functionality into StarTeam.
