ORA-12154: TNS: Could not resolve the connect identifier specified error after unexpected shutdown

Sometimes, this error is encountered in the StarTeam Server Administration consistently after a unexpected power shutdown of the Oracle database server. This happens because the tnsnames.ora is missing the StarTeam entry.

To resolve this issue: You will need to add the StarTeam entry back into the tnsnames.ora file again. This file can be found under Oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/NETWORK/ADMIN. (might differ from your installation)
