Problem:

After Upgrading my Starteam Client, why are the file Status" not updating correctly?

Resolution:

Description:

After upgrading your Starteam Client to 2006 R2, you may notice that the file status are not updating correctly or all files are in an "Unknown" status.


Answer/Solution:

This happens because the file status repository on your workstation is old and simply needs to be deleted. Locate the folder called SyncDB (typically located C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\Borland\StarTeam\syncdb). Close starteam, delete this folder, and restart the starteam client. Run "Update Status" and the file status should appear correctly.
