Problem:

StarTeam 2005 R2: StarTeam does not save login credentials.

Description:

StarTeam client does not save the login credentials beyond the session.

Answer/Solution:

This is true since the login credentails are stored in the StarTeam toolbar in the system tray. Once all the StarTeam sessions are closed and the StarTeam toolbar is closed as well, the stored information is lost.

Enhancement 978 has been filed for this issue. Request includes having a flag in the starteam-client-options.xml file and hence controlling the initial loading of the users LANID in the first login window.
