Problem:

How does the 'Restore folder selection on tab change' option in StarTeam CPC (under Tools | Personal Options | Workspace) work?

Resolution:

If 'Restore folder selection on tab change' option is selected, StarTeam CPC will remember the currently selected folder selection from the folder hierarchy. 

If 'Restore folder selection on tab change' option is not selected, StarTeam CPC will point to the root folder upon tab change.



Illustration: Assume I am at Documentation folder in Change Requests tab:



Now I move to Requirements tab and change to Projects folder:
 

When I go back to the Change Request tab, StarTeam CPC will automatically change the focus to Documentation folder:
