Problem:

When checking in or checking out a file using the Cross Platform Client (CPC) the following error may occur:

I/O Error: The Device is Not Ready

Resolution:

This can occur if the location of the working folders that have been created for the project are no longer available. The working folder may be pointing to a location which no longer exists, such as a disconnected external disk or network drive.

To resolve this:

1.  Open the project
2.  Go to 'View/Properties/Working folders'
3.  Check that the working folders exists and are accessible from the machine
