Why do I get an error - "An item with the name already exists", when wrapping files with VSS?

Answer:

This is an internal VSS data inconsistency error, reported by Star Team, during the wrap.

Borland recommends running VSS analyzer to determine the data inconsistency and correct any errors. If the problem persists, a workaround of moving/sharing the files in question to a different folder is suggested.
