Quality Center Synchronizer is creating a large number of defects in QC with no data.
In Quality Center following a synchronization there are a large number of defects that have only defect IDs and no data (with the exception of occasional attachments).
This problem comes from an issue with the Synchronizer. StarTeam to QC Synchronizer creates a blank defect if a user referenced in a StarTeam CR does not exist in Quality Center.
This issue is being addressed in a defect CR. Please contact Technical Support and request inclusion on that CR. Make sure to reference this KB article in the support case.
