How do I enter a new person?

Resolution:

To enter a new person:


  1. Select New> Other from the File menu. The Choose a Type box opens.
  2. Select person in the Types list.
  3. Click New to create the new person.

With an existing person selected in the Outline report or Calendar view, right-click the person and select New Person from the context menu. (If the person also has another identity, such as Developer, the menu may list that identity instead.)

When a person is created from the Outline report view, templates attached to headers above the selected item are applied along with the default templates. When a person is created from the Calendar view, templates in the Calendar view's template list are applied along with the default templates.
