Problem:

Why am I getting the exception Msg = Could not find stored procedure "length_check".

Resolution:

  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: StarTeam Server
  • Platform/OS Version: All Supported OS

Description:

Exception "Msg = Could not find stored procedure "length_check"."is thrown after upgraded and trying to start StarTeam 2006.

Answer/Solution:

This error occurs when the view or stored procedure in the DB are owned by more than one owner

The resolution is to create and run the "ChangeObjectOwner.sql" on those tables and start the Server again.

Please contact Borland Tech Support to facilitate the creation of the "ChangeObjectOwner.sql" script
