Description:
Error ‘Transaction context in use by another session’ upon starting the StarTeam server. How to resolve this and start the server without this error?

Answer/Solution:
This error is rather caused by SQL Server and is not due to StarTeam. Microsoft has a hot fix and the fix can be obtained from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943656/LN/ . Please follow the patch release note. You may need to re-install SQL Server if problem is not resolved by the patch.
