Why do I get the error "Cannot map user logon fields" when trying to connect to StarTeam Server via LDAP QuickStart Manager?

This occurs when the username you specify during the logon to StarTeam via QuickStart is a regular StarTeam user that is not listed in the Active Directory server.

You need to ensure that the user is already setup in StarTeam and that their login is configured to use Active Directory otherwise you will not be able to effectively use LDAP QuickStart Manager. Once you authenticate with this user you can then import other users into StarTeam from Active Directory.
