  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: 2005 R2
  • Product Component: STCMD
  • Platform/OS Version: All

Question:

Is there a cmd line option to check in all files in a view?

Answer:

Yes, this can be done using the StarTeam CMD line utility. See the instructions and sample code below.

1. First open a cmd line DOS window and browse to your StarTeam installation folder.

For example
C:\Program Files\Borland\StarTeam Cross-Platform Client 2005 R2

Run the code below after changing the following:

Username - replace with your user name

Borland - replace with your password

StarDraw/StarDraw/Beta Materials - replace this with the following: Project/View/Folder

stcmd ci -p "User:borland@localhost:49201/StarDraw/StarDraw/Beta Materials" -f NCI ""

The command will check in all files that are checked out in the view or folder
