Description:
Why does the starteam client throws error "Integer number is out of range. Permitted range is -999999999 to 999999999" ??

Answer/Solution:
Due to the permitted range in the database size field, you will not be able to add or check in a file with over 1gig size in pre StarTeam 2006. The size field can only take 9 digits while it requires 10 digits to store the 1 gig size. Thus, you will have "Integer number is out of range. Permitted range is -999999999 to 999999999" error should you try to add or check in files with at least 1 gig size. This defect has been addressed in StarTeam 2006 release.
