  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: 2005 & 2005 R2
  • Product Component: StarTeam Server
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows

Question:

How to change the service account for MSSQL$STARTEAM service?

Answer:

Stop StarTeam Server.

Stop the database using SQL Server Service Manager.

Make sure the service is stopped.

In Windows Services, select the MSSQL$STARTEAM service and view the properties.

On the Log On tab, change the Log On As username and password.

Save changes.

Restart database and StarTeam Server
