Problem:

Why are the StarTeam options unavailable when I try to place a web based project under source control from within the Visual Studio Integration?

Resolution:

  • Product Name: StarTeam
  • Product Version: 2006
  • Product Component: Visual Studio 2005 Integration
  • Platform/OS Version: Windows

StarTeam requires "relative" paths for files to be placed under source control. Web-based projects employ "non-relative" paths and can prevent the use of source control
