PPM Support Tip: When doing a BO install/upgrade, search for "Return code: 1" in the logs

When doing a BusinessObjects install or upgrade, search for "Return code: 1" in the logs.


Integration issue - SAP install/upgrade logs can be quite large.


When doing an install or upgrade of the SAP BusinessObjects (also known as Operational Reporting) software, it is necessary to search the logs to see if any processes have failed during the install or upgrade.

 


The logs will be found under the \hp\ppm\reporting\boe31\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\logging directory.

If a process fails, a "Return code: 1" will be displayed in the log.
