To be able to set status language to be used for the PPM-ALM requests integration, no matter of user session language used.

Example for PPM-ALM about requirements:

PPM has English (system language) and Italian Languages installed.

The status defined in ALM side is in Italian string, and will be mapping this string between ALM and PPM. If PPM language is changed to non-Italian, the status cannot be matched with ALM. So, in order to use PPM-ALM request integration, PPM login language can only be Italian in this case.

This is a limitation.

The Option to set com.kintana.core.server.REQUEST_LINK_ALM_ENTITY_STATUS=false is not acceptable.

The workaround is to logon PPM with Italian language when using PPM-ALM request integration.

  • I'm agree.

The limitation need to be managed since for any automatic action (ie: timeout event in PPM workflow) the english translation is active even for an Italian session. This cause system errors and user mismatch about PPM / ALM integration
