Scenario:

As a UFT Automation Testers, you need to learn about UFT One and the enhancement available in UFT. In this lesson, you will learn how to import REST, WADL and WSDL Services.

Course Description:

This learning series comprises of 6 lessons. In the Lesson 5, you will learn about the UFT One web services. This online course about how to create API Test, import REST, WSDL and WADL services.

This course is developed using the Micro Focus Adoption Readiness Tool (ART). ART content provides easy access to self-paced learning content enabling users to not only dive into an online course but also to gain direct access to individual components to quickly master specific tasks.

Lesson 5 – UFT one Web services Digital Learning:

 

·         Module 5.1: Creating Tests on a Web Application

·         Module 5.2: Introduction to REST Services

·         Module 5.3: introduction to UFT Web services

Demo:

 The demonstrations in this course use UFT One 15.0. This course has the following demonstrations:

 

·         Add a Synchronization Point

·         Adding Checkpoints for a Web Object

·         Preparing the Test Environment

·         Recording a Web Application Test

·         Import a WSDL-based web service

·         Create a REST Service by Using the REST Editor

·         Create a REST Service by Importing a WADL

·         Import a Web Service

·         Run an API Test

·         Define API Test Checkpoints

·         Run a Data-driven Test

·         Use Output from a Previous Step as an Input

Prerequisites:

To be successful in this course, you need to have a working knowledge of UFT One.
