Recieving an "Invalid Database Version" error when running CRMDiag on CaliberRM 2008 SP1 database
I am not able to run CRMDiag on my CaliberRM 2008 SP1
database. Receiving an "Invalid Database Version"
error when running the utility.
C:\>crmdiag -s SQMDB
crmdiag build version 10.0.345.2
Stopping SQM Monitor...
Note: Database will be modified and the nobackup flag is set.
Database will not
be backed up!
Database Version 9.0.0
Database version does not match expected verion (1000).
*** Invalid Database Version.
The database version was never upgraded or installed properly as it
is at version 9.0.0. For CaliberRM 2008 SP1, it should be at
version 10.0.0. The version of CRMDiag being used
(10.0.345.2) is built specifically for version 10.0.0.
* In brand new installs, the databases are being created as version
* In upgraded databases, the database conversion process likely
never completed in its entirety. A successful upgrade should
complete through Upgrade Step 11 and show start and finish of 10.0
(see attachment for excerpt of successful upgrade)
** For brand new 2008 SP1 installs **
To convert the database to version 10.0.0, you can run the upgrade
command to run the full upgrade and convert the database.
From the command prompt, run the following command:
This process should complete through Upgrade Step 11 and show
that it started and finished the 10.0 Conversion.
** For upgraded databases **
Check the Caliber install.log file to see if the "latest"
upgrade process failed to complete.
If the any step of the upgrade process failed, that step and
subsequesnt steps should be re-ran. This can be done by
running the following command:
If step 6 failed, run steps 6-11, if step 2 failed ... steps
*Note: there is not a step 9 of the upgrade process*
