Why is the error message "E1099: SM_E_SDA_CRASHED: SDA has crashed " shown in the Caliber server log?
When this error occurs, you will not be able to connect to the
Caliber Server and will receive a "connection rejected"
message when trying to log in via the client. The full error

This issue is related to a memory leak with the Versant
database. There is a Versant Patch that resolves this problem which
is incorporated in the Versant database version in CaliberRM 2008
Restarting the Versant database and Caliber services will not
resolve this issue, you need to restart the physical server to fix

month to prevent this problem from happening until such times that
