Cannot Connect to the CaliberRM server and/or a database backup fails with Versant Exception <Error -1073734819> E3221232477
This error may be present in your caliber_srv.log file if your
CaliberRM server is unable to start. This will prevent
clients from being able to connect to the server. This
Versant Exception could also prevent you from being able to make a
backup of your database as well.
You may be able to resolve this condition by performing an
emergency start of the database. In order to do this, you
first need to obtain the checkdb.exe file. Please go to the
following directory on your CaliberRM server (your install
directory may vary).
Please make a copy of the file startdb.exe and rename it to
checkdb.exe and place it back in the same Bin directory. You
should now have both startdb.exe and checkdb.exe in the Bin
Please open a command prompt and execute the following commands
to perform an emergency start of the database. You should
replace SQMDB with the name of your database if you are not using
the default database name.
>checkdb ?E SQMDB
Please allow a minute for your CaliberRM server to come up and
try logging in again.
