Proper security error with CaliberRM Java Client
When user attempts to logon to CaliberRM with the web client
they receive the error message ?Unable to launch CaliberRM web,
proper security was not granted to this applet.?
When a user first attempts to login to the Caliber Web Client,
they will be prompted to ?grant applet security permissions?.
They should choose ?grant always?, if they have selected ?no?, the
following resolutions will apply.
Please verify the machines receiving the error have the proper
version of the JAVA Plug in.
To check the version go to:
Start\Settings\Control Panel\Add Remove Programs and verify the
JAVA 2 Runtime Environment Standard Edition is 1.3.1_01 or
If it is not one of the above versions, please uninstall the
JAVA 2 Runtime Environment.
After uninstalling it open a web browser and enter the name or
IP address of the Caliber server.
