Background to problem:
Having closed down all documents within SilkTest and then run a testcase or testplan from the command prompt. On reopening SilkTest, these previously closed documents are still open.
In order to avoid having any files open in SilkTest on start-up.
Firstly create a option set which has no files open in SilkTest, then modify the partner syntax to contain the option set for example "partner -q -opt path\optionset.opt path\testcase.t". Once this is completed SilkTest will not leave any files open on start-up after running the testcase via the partner command.
