After uninstalling SilkTest and rebooting, you should make sure that all program files are deleted, especially DLL"s that reside in the Windows System directory such as QapHooks.dll, QapAbort.dll, QapJarEx.dll, QapAx.tlb, QapAxv4.tlb. If the DLL"s are still there, try to delete them manually. If this is not possible follow these steps.
You should see entries for the DLL"s that could not be deleted, and they will have non-zero values. Either remove the entry (recommended), or change the value to 0 and Reboot. You should now be able to delete the DLL(s) if they have not been deleted automatically during rebooting.)
To be thorough, use Regedit (after uninstalling and rebooting) to delete any keys/values that involve the SilkTest directory, and also any keys/values containing "QAPHlprObj" or "QAPHelper". In other words, search in Regedit for "SilkTe" (encompasses the long and short forms of the SilkTest directory), "QAPHlprObj", "QAPHelper".
