Why when enabling extensions against my Flex application does SilkTest only show that the Win32 extension has been loaded?

When enabling extensions against a Flex application using the Open Agent, SilkTest check the extensions that can currently be enabled for that application. On selecting "Enable Extensions" the Open Agent will load the relevant extensions into the executing process, it is these extensions that allow us to gain recognition of an applications controls.

In the instance where SilkTest has detected that the application is Flex based and the Flex extension is not loaded after pressing the "Enable Extensions" button, this behaviour can generally be attributed to the following:

1. The said Flex application has not been compiled with the automation libraries ( see

   "Enabling Your Flex Application for Testing" within the SilkTest help )

2. The said Flex application has not be loaded via the FlexAutomationLauncher ( see

   "Enabling Your Flex Application for Testing" within the SilkTest help )

3. The Open Agent was not started before the said Flex application was launched
