If you receive the stated error, please see information below for potential causes:
- Check that the "openAgent" process is not already running. (Windows Task Manager | Processes tab) - Run command prompt "netstat" and make sure that no process is running on port 4000 or 2966 to stop the open agent. - Check if the Credant service is running (CmgShieldSvc.exe). This has been known to conflict when trying to use the Open Agent.
