AcuBench V9.1.2.1 on Windows 8 (Property Window cannot be modified)

Problem:

After installing AcuCobol V9.1.2.1 on Windows 8 and using AcuBench within the project you cannot change values in the Property Window. Every entry (Values/Items/Events) is grey.

Resolution:

This is fixed in V9.2 and cannot be patched into previous products.

A simple workaround is to right-click AcuBench.exe, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” checkbox. Once checked, the dropdown is enabled, and you can select Windows 7. Once you do that, AcuBench runs just fine.
