PROBLEM

When installing AcuCobol, this error message occurs :

"This installation package is not supported by this processor type."

RESOLUTION

AcuCobol 64 Bit cannot be installed onto a Windows platform with a System Type of 32 Bit.

 

Windows 32 bit                 Acu 32 bit    correct

Windows 32 bit                 Acu 64 bit    wrong

Windows 64 bit                 Acu 32 bit    correct

Windows 64 bit                 Acu 64 bit    correct
