ACCEPT OMITTED fails to pause program when using RM COBOL compatibility mode

Problem:

According to the documentation ACCEPT OMITTED should cause the program to pause at the displayed screen and the user is required to enter a termination key.

Resolution:

RM COBOL does not have the concept of OMITTED in the ACCEPT statement.

Due to this, when in RM compatability mode OMITTED has no affect and the program does not stop.

The resolution for this problem is to not use -Cr compiler option, or, if that is not possible, change the ACCEPT OMITTED to an ACCEPT of a dummy variable defined in working-storage.
