Acurfap Error: The system cannot find the file specified

This article describes an Acurfap error, which may appear when trying to run a program from within AcuBench.

Problem:

Click on "Execute" to run a program from within AcuBench. An error like this appears in the Output window:

--------- Compiling Program1.cbl ------------------- Compile options = -o acurfap://myserver:5632:/@.acu -x -GaCopying object file to serveracurfap://myserver:5632:/Program1.acu: The system cannot find the file specified.Program1.acu - Completed: 0 Error(s), 0 Warning(s).

Resolution:

The "Use Thin Client" button has been incorrectly activated. This causes the runtime to search for a remote object to run.

Deselect "Use Thin Client" button to run a locally compiled object.
