Problem:
Issuing the following command:
acuthin.exe serverIP AcuToWebAlias
returns the following error:
"Connection failed. Unknown error."
Where:
AcuToWebAlias is an alias that runs correctly with AcuToWeb
Resolution:
Check if the license for AcuConnect Thin Client is installed and activated.
AcuRCL service can be turned on just having an AcuToWeb license active: acurcl.wlc
But to use acuthin, an acurcl.alc file is necessary.
We are working to include a specific error message for this situation, but that is not going to be available in the Acu 10.1.0. We plan to add this to a future release of the Acu product.
