  4. What product forums are you most active in? AMC, Enterprise Developer / Server

  5. What was your very first job ever? A holiday job where I was drilling holes into big chunks of steel, if I recall for boilers.

  6. Tell us about your career journey:Quite long…… too much to mention in one line and perhaps not very interesting. I have worked in various sectors like broadcasting to pharmaceuticals. Most roles I had were in support teams and some development.

  7. What did you want to be when you were younger:Graphic Artist / Industrial Designer, anything with drawing.

  8. Who is your role model? Never really gave that much thought. If I had to choose I would choose  Jack Carthy, a very successful GBR trials bike rider, but not well known as it is little known sport.

  9. What do you like to do in your free time? Exercise such as riding bikes or running, drawing.

  10. Best piece of advice you have ever received?Marry the love of my life Blush

  11. What technology innovation made the most impact on your life? I think the internet has changed a lot of things. And looking to the future AI will likely have a similar effect eventually.

  12. What is one important skill every person should have? Being able to listen, being patient.

  13. What is the best benefit that you have ever had at a job? (for example, every Friday you got to wear jeans, every Monday there was coffee and donuts, you played sports for the company team, etc.) Playing Badminton at lunch time with colleagues, that is a lot of fun and you get to meet many people.

  14. What is the most important personal attribute that you bring to your job? Keeping the customer in mind, be patient, take time to understand things.

  15. Who would you like to exchange roles with?Just for a short time I would like to experience some time in a development role to understand what those colleagues deal with, creating something that customers use to create their applications.

  16. What is one of the things on your bucket list? Flying a Paraglider solo, but doubt I will have that ticked off, quite a dangerous thing to do.

  17. If you could only take one physical item with you on a deserted island, what it would be? Mobile phone with a signal to get help and off the island.

  18. What is a recent book that you have enjoyed? A book about the history of trail biking.

  19. What do you consider your greatest work achievement? Creating the AMC Marketplace.

  20. What should they teach in school, but don’t? Respect, national service could be brought back.

  21. What do you want to do when you retire? That is a long way off yet Blush, focus on hobbies, stay active if possible, keep the mind and body active.
