ChangeMan and Configuration Builder purpose

Hello,
Can anyone help me understand the use and difference of these two products.

Serena ChangeMan builder (openmake) 6.4.1 and Serena Configuration builder 7.5.

    Hi,

    Both products are legacy products within Serena. Configuration Builder is a build execution tool that leverages a specific scripting language and was designed to work with PVCS Version Manager (part of the PVCS Professional Pro suite).

    ChangeMan Builder was an OEM'd solution (provided by OpenMake, branded as Serena) that worked with both PVCS and Dimensions CM. It used a different paradigm for defining builds. Customers moving from Configuration Builder to ChangeMan Builder would have to migrate their Config Builder Scripts to the OpenMake paradigm. Serena no longer has an OEM relationship with OpenMake.
