is there a hotfix for log4j security issue?

We keep seeing emails that there is a HOTFIX for Log4j Security Issue.  If so, do we have to request the hotfix?

    Please contact Customer Support for the latest hotfix for the Java components that make use of log4j.  Hotfixes have been created at lkog4j V2.17 level.
