In order to optimize Db2 performance for both, ChangeMan ZMF customers running the Db2 or ERO options should schedule regular RUNSTATS and re-binds of their ZMF Db2 tablespaces and packages, respectively. This is especially important when the Db2 tables are initially loaded with data or when, for example, the data is moved to a new location. As mentioned in the ZMF ERO Getting Started Guide, which is available here, failure to ensure that the defined Db2 indexes are actually being used could lead to unacceptable performance in this functionality.
