Hi Team,

Recently , i got chance to work on migration of 32 bit Microfocus cobol code to 64 bit microfocus cobol code in windows environment. what will be the neccessary code changes in the 32 bit microfocus cobol code when migrated to 64 bit micrfocus cobol code. Could you please help me with this.

    Hi Pavankumar, that can be a large topic. Without understanding the application or it's requirements it is difficult to give advise on this topic via the forum. There are products/features available to help scan existing code for 64bit readiness, for that you can check topic called code analysis (www.microfocus.com/.../GUID-DF063572-3EF5-4DD0-8787-2BB6FF8E9F48.html) or the full product version of that called Enterprise Analyser. I recommend you to either consider raising a support case asking specific questions e.g. which directive to use, or if an error is encounter with the conversion, or seeking consulting services help to help plan the conversion.
